Heidi Willbanks The Real Numbers' positive, upbeat power pop helps make my world a happier place. Seriously the best anti-depressant. So much talent in this band, and they're the nicest people! Favorite track: Senses Working Overtime.

Master Plan 02:53
She smiles when she talks that’s how I know just what she’s thinking She hovers when she walks that’s how I know she’s got a plan She’s got something up her sleeve that’s clear from her bubbly body language She smiles when she talks She hovers when she walks She’s got a master plan. I always thought she had a secret service or a covert reason for deceivin’ but I suspect that there is something deeper lions sleeping softly in her lair. She’s got a sparkle in her eye that betrays a raging fire She’s got a most elusive mind that makes me wonder why I care She’s a riddle all wrapped up in a mystery inside an enigma She smiles when she talks She hovers when she walks She’s got a master plan. I always thought she had a secret service or a covert reason for deceivin’ but I suspect that there is something deeper lions sleeping softly in her lair. So I searched and I searched for a long time to find the thread when pulled she’d come undone But I could find no evidence at all, not a single trace of anything but fun. She only wants to have the best time ever and by fooling me so much the better And now it’s clear that there’s no inner circle, just a lone gun woman A conspiracy of just one She smiles when she talks She hovers when she walks She’s got a plan.

Put on the spot – there’s not a lot I get upset about If I act distraught then it’s something to forget about ‘Cause I’m not used to a good thing Nothing’s wrong but tell me what am I s’posed to do Been waiting so long for you to drop the other shoe I can’t complain, I can’t complain I can’t complain. Courting disaster offers endless possibilities Get what I’m after and get out before you get to me ‘Cause baby, I’m not your good thing Knock on wood and tell me what am I s’posed to do Wake the whole neighborhood ‘cause it’s too good to be true I can’t complain, I can’t complain, I can’t complain. I can’t complain, I can’t complain, I can’t com- Plain to see it makes me nervous I strain to speak but I'm left wordless Worried that I don't deserve this Hoping that you haven't heard this... I’m ok but then I already knew Even if I complained tell me what good would it do I can’t complain, I can’t complain, I can’t complain. I can’t complain, I can’t complain, I can’t complain. I can’t complain, I can’t complain I can’t complain.

Wonderful 03:35
It’s been a long night and I’ve got one thing on my mind And though it seems trite it’s the best I can describe How I’m feeling at the journey’s bitter end Awake as this thought comes flooding back again like an old friend. Such a simple revelation to behold But not a single chance it ever could be told Through the silence and a multitude of sound My heart of darkness brightened up by leaps and bounds Sing it out loud Here’s the bottom line Life is simply wonderful in every single way Don’t knock it til you try Would that everyone could feel this every single day That life is A-OK And rootin’ tootin’ gosh darn wonderful Can’t think of anything else to say And so I look back on the movies that we made It’s a shame that all the stories seem to fade In my minds eye But I know there was a seed that was planted And watered by the dreams of infinity and Here’s the bottom line Life is simply wonderful in every single way You may criticize but Would that everyone could feel this every single day That life is A-OK And rootin’ tootin’ gosh darn wonderful Can’t think of anything else to say Except for this it's more than bliss with joy and sorrow in the mix Would never believe that I could feel so really real And all my pain and suffering is wrapped up like a candy cane with Rainbows and carousels and butterflies and unicorns... Here’s the bottom line Life is simply wonderful in every single way Don’t knock it til you try Would that everyone could feel this every single day In every single way That life is simply wonderful Wonderful! Life is simply wonderful! Life is simply wonderful! Life is simply wonderful!

Hey hey,the clouds are whey, There's straw for the donkeys And the innocents can all sleep safely All sleep safely. My my, sun is pie There's fodder for the cannons And the guilty ones can all sleep safely All sleep safely. And all the world is football shaped, It's just for me to kick in space And I can see, hear, smell, touch, taste And I've got one, two, three, four, five senses working overtime Trying to take this all in, I've got one, two, three, four, five senses working overtime Trying to taste the difference 'tween the lemons and limes The pain and the pleasure and The church bells softly chime... Hey hey, night fights day, There's food for the thinkers And the innocents can all live slowly All live slowly My, my the sky will cry Jewels for the thirsty and the guilty ones can All die slowly all die slowly. And all the world is biscuit shaped, It's just for me to feed my face And I can see, hear, smell, touch, taste And I've got one, two, three, four, five sense working overtime Trying to take this all in, I've got one, two, three, four, five senses working overtime Trying to taste the difference 'tween the lemons and limes The pain and the pleasure and the church bells softly chime... And birds might fall from black skies And bullies might give you black eyes And buses might skid on black ice But I find it very very beautiful Beautiful And all the world is football - shaped, It's just for me to kick in space And I can see, hear, smell, touch, taste - And I've got one, two, three, four, five senses working overtime Trying to take this all in, I've got one, two, three, four, five senses working overtime Try to tell the difference 'tween the goods and crimes, Turd or treasure and there's One, two, three, four, five senses working overtime Trying to taste the difference 'tween the lemons and limes The pain and the pleasure and the church bells softly chime...

Way back when, when I was another man, a passport from Pakistan. You were my rendezvous. On the platform, grabbing the black brief case, just as I saw your face, you vanished in Budapest. I was going to resign, I had lived for too long behind enemy lines I never thought I'd be called in from the cold or bite the hand that once controlled me. Maybe, you'd be the one to save me and make me the happiest spy in the world. Under cover under the old regime, cocktails and kerosene. The fire at the embassy drew pursuers off of the non-descript man with the manuscript stuffed in his underwear I had run out of time I was trapped like a fly caught in a web of designs just hoping that someone could decrypt the code Before my ticking bomb exploded. Maybe you'd be the one to save me And make me the happiest spy in the world I hid my microphone in the chandelier above. Could not believe my ears when you confessed your love... I had run out of time, I was trapped like a spy behind enemy lines I never unlocked the great conspiracy that brought us here and made you love me Lady, you were the one who saved me And made me the happiest spy in the world Happiest spy in the world The happiest spy in the world.
